About me
Hej, guten tag, salve, hola, xin chào, bonjour and hello. You get the idea.
I’m Jake, currently a senior research analyst for a leading digital marketing organisation.
On a daily basis, I’m responsible for demystifying the ever-evolving online marketing and advertising sector and have to demonstrate a thorough understanding of issues and developments within the field, identify and challenge best practices in the education of many of the world’s top companies and brands.
I began my career working within one of the UK’s leading agencies and their company group, which ranks consistently in the top ten of the UK’s leading interactive agencies. There, I was responsible for managing various large-scale accounts and projects for clients. Prior to this, I worked for a top-50 University’s online commercial development division as a research officer… To date, client-side organisations I’ve produced project work for include AXA, the Post Office, RSPCA, the Co-Op, Turkish Airlines, Orange, Random House, Hachette, NSPCC and Coca-Cola. This doesn’t include the dozens of digital and media agencies or technology companies that I’ve worked with.
But enough about me… This blog is a collection of my thoughts and opinions, random mumblings and nice shiny things that are probably better shared with others.
All content here is entirely my own and is not associated with the views of my employer. My blog is purely to record whatever bizarre thoughts, events or insights I might be experiencing and, à la Matt Cutts, if you find something of use or interest, then great… But bear in mind that if I do say something stupid, then the stupidity is mine, and mine alone, although I’m more than happy to share it with you publicly.
Thanks for stopping by.
- Jake
